Labor Day recognizes the American labor movement as well as the contributions and achievements of workers. All BronxWorks locations, with the exception of 24-hour facilities, are closed Monday, September 1.

Bronxworks hired infamous anti-labor firm Jackson Lewis to wage a union-busting campaign against it's legal services workers. The bosses co-opt the wins of the labor movement in a sad attempt at hiding their continued exploitation of their workers.

In the face of Trump’s attacks on our city, these organizations are on the front lines of protecting New Yorkers in housing court, immigration hearings, and throughout our justice system.
These contracts and wage agreement are major steps forward for @UAW legal services workers and the families they serve.💪

This spring the @BronxWorks legal services dept. decided to institute "performance appraisals," section 5 pictured below concerns time off. @NYSLabor specifically states that an employer CANNOT retaliate against an employee in *any way* for using sick leave.
