A 16 year old was shot for ringing the wrong doorbell. A 20 year old was shot and killed for driving down the wrong driveway. An 18 year old is in critical condition for trying to get into the wrong car. And a 6 year old and her dad were shot because her basketball rolled onto the wrong lawn. I got one photo of the incident of a Proud Boy punching a queer person with his full weight. They had just been walking behind, PBs turned around. They tell me the punch didn’t hurt — what hurt was that they fell on a metal barricade. This happened in front of a store called “A Salt & Battery.”

This is a sad day for @nytimes. This company pledged $150 million in stock buybacks this year, but it’s offering staff what amounts to a pay cut, during record inflation in the most expensive city in the world. I love the Times and wish it loved me back.
