Another nice play by Acevedo helps Reimer post a zero in the fifth despite Garcia-Soto reaching base for the third time today M5: 1-1

Ugh. Huskies should have had 2 on, 0 out but a fantastic diving stop by Wilkes led to a 6-4-3 DP instead.

Diving catch by Burdick keeps it tied! She was playing shallow which put her close enough to snag the low liner by Elliott. USF has stranded two runners in each of the past 3 innings M4: 1-1

Reimer's first strikeout is a huge one, getting Pierce to chase way outside, stranding two in scoring position. Bulls get one to tie it up but miss a chance to take the lead M3: 1-1

USF has made some pretty hard contact against Reimer so far. Double to the track, a few solid singles, the lineout double play, and also a lineout to Mazzola. Maddox starting to warm

and she immediately comes across. RBI single by Galligani. Mazzola booted it, but I doubt there would have been a play at the plate against a fast runner

BANG! Jadyn Glab smacks her 11th of the year to dead center. 1-0 Dawgs

The main thing you're usually concerned about on a play at the plate is obstruction, but Glab was very clearly in front of the plate here. My only worry was whether she actually got the swipe tag, but she must have, because USF obviously would've challenged otherwise

and then Strott bounces out to third! Huge bullet avoided thanks to a pair of grounders and an excellent play by Acevedo M2: 0-0

Huge out at the plate! High hopper looked like trouble but Acevedo fires a quick shot to Glab and they cut down Wilkes. 2 outs, corners

bunt moves up both. Huge spot for Reimer here against the 7 & 8 hitters
