@TheLawless @Tezza2799 Clubs don’t just bid for players without enquiring first! Contact is made with clubs, agents and players directly to get a sense of appetite for a move before they play their hand with a bid. How do you not know/understand that?

@Tezza2799 @TheLawless There’s a difference between a lack of effort and just bad recruitment. The latter is mostly true window after window. But you can’t just assume there’s a lack of effort because you’re not happy with the transfer strategy.

If you read the rumours and just assume Disasi is the only CB we’ve tried to sign, then your accusation that I have a “very simplistic view of football” is rather ironic.
