Fun note on Bryce Eldridge: His average EV of 95.6 mph was 2nd to only Oneil Cruz (95.9 mph) while his hard hit % of 68.8% was the best mark in baseball. *min. 30 plate appearances. Small sample, but he already saw success in his stint despite poor production numbers overall.

With Tyler Mahle going today, the top of the rotation is set (Webb, Ray, Mahle), Vitello said. How the fourth and fifth spots shake out between Houser and Roupp is TBD. One possibility for next week is to play with the two off days and bump Webb up.
