I need urgent help from @Bybit_Official and even @BybitAfrica On Saturday around 3:00 AM, I sold 400 USDT to a trader called CheapcoinsNG on the Bybit P2P platform. The buyer paid ₦559,560 to my bank account, but immediately after the transaction, he reported the payment as fraudulent to his bank. Now my bank has restricted my account because of that report. When I went to the bank, they told me the report came from the buyer’s side. This means he collected my 400 USDT and then flagged the payment so he wouldn’t have to pay for it. I have been messaging him on the Bybit P2P chat, but he is not responding. I also submitted an appeal to Bybit, but I have not received any response yet. My bank is now telling me that the only way they can lift the restriction is if I return the ₦558,560 to the buyer. That means I will lose both my 400 USDT and the money. This situation is extremely frustrating and unfair. @Bybit_Official please look into this case urgently. I have also checked his past reviews and there are already several bad complaints about him. I will attach screenshots of the reviews and transaction details below. I feel enough time has passed concerning this issue, so I'm bringing it here, it's the first time I'm encountering such an issue on Bybit. Sometime yesterday, i initiated a trade of $346 on @Bybit_Official P2P, and up till now, the vendor has refused to release my funds or cancel the trade. He initially sent me 100 naira and claimed he's trying to test whether the network of his bank is functioning properly before he sends the rest. Although i didn't believe this, i was patient and told him to send the rest. Up till now, i haven't received it, i submitted an appeal on the Bybit app with the evidence required to back my claim. I tried resolving the issue amicably with him, by telling him to cancel the trade so i can move to another vendor, but he refused and told me to take down my appeal first. I'm bringing this matter here because i want it resolved as soon as possible. @BybitAfrica Please look into this, I'm hoping to get in contact with one of your representatives soon, Thank you🙏🏼

I’m being scammed on Bybit @Bybit_Official. The buyer marked the order as paid without actually paying and has refused to respond to my multiple messages. I waited for a long time and then canceled the order because the buyer did not make payment. After that, the buyer opened an appeal claiming an order dispute. Doing P2P in bybit is something else now You have to beg the mf to either pay you or cancel the order and sometimes they will ask you to confirm payment without you getting paid. It literally happens most of the time especially Christmas season when these fraudster would be looking for who to scam for detty December Stay safu guys

I went on Bybit P2P to sell $3,940.52, just minding my business then boom, I ran into a wannabe scammer. The guy asked for my WhatsApp number, claiming he’d send the payment there. I gave it to him, but of course, no money showed up. Instead, he hit paid” on Bybit like everything was settled, trying to bait me into releasing the USDT. Next thing, he’s on WhatsApp saying, Let’s do a video call, record your screen so I can confirm. I went along for a second, then realized bro’s not a buyer, he’s a full time scam artist! Now the funds are frozen until he cancels or Bybit finishes their 24 hour review. Someone’s really out here trying to mess up my weekend vibes 😏

Bybit is a fantastic exchange. I said this on space yesterday. I trade actively on Bybit. Here’s my Bybit UID: 698176. Let Bybit confirm how I trade actively on the platform. My only problem with them is allowing the P2P NGN support mẽss the whole marketplace up by allowing scàmmers thrive. It’s funny how many of you defending Bybit actually agree with my point deep down, but you’d rather twist it and say I’m only calling them out to promote Bitget. You also turn around and blame the victims who have fallen for the scàm. So, in a nutshell, the scämmers should be allowed to keep thriving on the platform? How on earth would a merchant send N1,050,000 instead of N1,500,000 only for support to intervene and release funds to the buyer? I have a strong sentiment that the NGN support team might be working hand in hand with these scàmmers to share the scàm proceeds.
