@NarwhalChannel @Why485 @Nothke 1.because gdscript is simpler and better integrated because it's a custom language made for godot + people ended up liking it a lot (even ex unity users)
2.because godot aims to be both a 2d and 3d game engine and the 3d side lacks features while the 2d side is already very good

Tbh now that I use Godot, I realize that Unity has just solved a lot of problems in a better way, and I don't understand the active effort from Godot to "not be Unity".

@FosterSunn @drlabsdev godot makes blender export to gltf under the hood, so modifiers are applied in blender at export time
