@ocieaja I gave up the 708, stopped taking seed/ unlisted punts and gave up taking placement stock. I'm happier and suffer less losses

What are the stupidest investments you have ever made? . . I made at least $250k each year 5 years ago, which was fantastic. I applied for 708 and purchased seeds, resulting in substantial financial losses.

Propadee market was getting a bit of momentum second half of last year, on the basis ‘cuts were coming’ It’s clear now cuts aren’t coming But does this mean the market retraces ? Or - just doesn’t matter - cos ‘Aussie propadee number go up’ I suspect the latter

Legendary mining investor, Doug Casey, says 1000 baggers are coming in 2026. "In major bull markets when the scrappy little stocks go up 10 to 1 as a group and some stocks to 100 to 1 and occasionally you get a 1000 to 1". I've said this before but I'll say it again, I believe we are entering a dot com boom type run in mining stocks in 2026.

Commodities on a tear and I still don’t think we own enough of anything. The Us dollar is rolling over and setups in gold, silver, copper, uranium, rare earths and lithium are plentiful, we’re going straight up
