@jonesvibesonly The first 3 books are roughly the same. I think POA has at least 9+. Books 4-7 are were we will need 12-15 episodes if not more.

In what world is this a let down. The audio book is 8 hours and 25 minutes. We’re basically getting the entire book.

It’s really sad that the tradition of having physical photo albums has been lost, because now everything is digital. It was so beautiful to sit down, open an album, look at each photo, and relive so many memories.

@cyanluaarts It was an alright book. It gave the idea to use the OC in the book of Lianna to use as her best friend and handmaiden like in the book.

Another recommendation: The Twisted Tales Series (they have book and manga version)! It is a "What If" and I loved the Sleeping Beauty's version! It happens inside Maleficent's dream realm and Aurora has a more direct interaction with her! I wish this was animated too!

@desolatist I really love how Queen Leahs face lights up as she hears the music and Aurora shows.

The show runner of the new Harry Potter show is a woman so there's a pretty good chance that Hermione will *actually* be the main character.

Philosopher’s Stone is a small book. 8 episodes is plenty to cover it. They will run into trouble though once they get to Goblet of Fire on. 8 episodes won’t be enough.

@MovieFlameProd Pretty much all of this and more. My boy Ron got dirty. I can see on the HermioneXHarry sub-reddit they only ever use the films as a reference for the evidence og their ship not the books. Unlike RonXHermoine.

We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways. Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head: -Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione -Ginny was not Ginny -Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film -Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book -Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain) -Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup -Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts -Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that) -Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead -Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.

@ReignOfPride I’m curious how they would handle Psylocke nowadays. (Not really counting the apocalypse) Maybe they will go the Sai backstory since well Betsy and Kawannon was a weird part of comic history and mcu likes messing with the comic lore.

They better make sure Magik is in those rewrites…
