Been rewatching Rings of Power… and man, this show was criminally underrated when it aired. Just a bad combo of: (a) bad faith fans nuking the audience ratings bc of black elves/dwarves; and (b) S1 airing at the same time as HOTD and Andor and getting drowned out.

Half the fandom is either toxic or hates everything. The other half of fandom that actually enjoys the stuff is slowly being trained not get invested or care because it’s all just gonna get canceled anyways.

can’t stop thinking about the big picture. if you’re an actress of colour, you should stay away from star wars. if you’re a fan of colour, you should stay away from SW. if you enjoy women/poc stories you should stay away from SW. this franchise WILL NOT protect or listen to you.
