You're happy, you catch him with a Master Ball, you're not taking any chances, he's level 70, a beast in the late game. Years later, you learn of a thing called 'shinies' in the Pokéverse. You recall your interaction with a red Lugia and go to check what colour it is. It's red. Your heart sinks, you let it go, just because you thought it was 'a glitch'. Never to be caught on Pokémon Silver by yourself again.
