We are all at the Sunderlandhotel in the Sauerland, to attend the beautifully organises meeting by our colleagues from the CSS from thr @HHU_de in Düsseldorf. Looking forward to nice talks rotating around structural biology 👍

Our protein crystallography course 2023 is in full swing. It's a nice group! However, I still get amazed that students can surprise me after 10y+ teaching. Never saw an diffraction image as shown. Prob the detector moved during exposure?🤔(that should definitely NOT happen 😬)

It's the time you have all been waiting for, the official opening ceremony of #SynchrotronMugMadness 2: Electron Boogaloo. This year we have 26 light sources from 14 countries, 3 competing for the first time, and some new mugs from preivous competitors! Let's meet the mugs!

A new paper of the Hofmann group with some interesting structures of unusual deubiquitinases measured at the great beamlines from @EMBLHamburg. Definitely worth reading 👍 nature.com/articles/s4146…

Got beautiful diffraction for a (still) unknown structure from an user of our facility. The ID30B @esrfsynchrotron worked like a charm 👍

4 years, already 🙄 I guess we could ramp ul our activity here a little bit....😬 #MeinTwitterJubiläum

After only, 6 month the left unit goes into retirement and will be replaced with its bigger sister. CryoEM data sizes are crazy 🤪
