@C2seed Would need to look at the yield data but has to be .5 ton / or more . We have seen very bad pod shatter on the contracting harvesting side, where crops have been sprayed off too late and the crop has been hit out by the sprayer the losses then are unreal .

Having walked round with a frustrated agronomist, I am told at least 10% loss in many fields. Thing is we have such poor longer run data, I've no idea whether this loss occasionally would be outweighed by £45/ha SFI no insecticides payment. Is it a 1 in 10 year event or 1 in 4?

Just popped to see our @ragtseedsuk Grouse crop. Although it was drilled slightly later than ideal for the variety(first week of November) it still looks good! It could be slightly later to come to harvest being a +2/+3. Looking forward to seeing how it yields. BYDV resistance!!
