Starting March 1, Steak n Shake will give all hourly employees at its company-operated restaurants a Bitcoin bonus of $0.21 for every hour worked.

Amongst AI and other tech industries referenced in Newsom’s last CA state of the state address, there was NO mention of Bitcoin or digital assets.
As a Californian, and a Bitcoiner I wonder if Newsom plans to address Bitcoin at any point in his Presidential run
Or perhaps he has written this constituency off. Odd considering Coinbase and many other huge digital asset companies/investors call CA home…

🇺🇸 California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a bill allowing the state to transfer custody of any Bitcoin or cryptocurrency held on exchanges after three years of inactivity. Under the law, inactive accounts on centralized exchanges are classified as "unclaimed property."
