Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, oh my! There is much in season and one of the best places to purchase seasonal, Virginia-grown food is at your local farmers market. Want to know how you can shop at a farmers market for your center? Watch our Farm to CACFP Website for the recording.

For Kids Eat Right Month, we still want to include our adult participants. These foods provides great benefits: kale (protects eye tissue from sunlight damage), sweet potatoes (prevents dry eye and night blindness), strawberries (vitamin C), and fatty fish (immune health).
