Connecting a Registry to CAD Trust. Both independent standards and national carbon registries are invited to connect with CAD Trust and have their data reflected in our Data Dashboard. Thanks to our open-source software, the connection process is swift and straightforward. Each Registry publishes data using their own instance of the CAD Trust software. Exciting News: The CAD Trust Public Data Dashboard is now live! We're thrilled to introduce our Data Dashboard, a landmark achievement in enhancing confidence within carbon markets. By consolidating a critical mass of carbon credit data, we're setting a new standard for trust and transparency. With 85 vital datasets available, our dashboard serves all market stakeholders, ensuring access to a unified taxonomy. We've integrated data from four carbon market standards, including @VerraStandards, @CarbonCouncil, @EcoRegistry , BioCarbon Registry, and the latest addition, Bhutan's national registry. Carbon markets continue to play an important role at #COP28 in #Dubai, facilitating discussions on how countries can mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and meet climate targets. A big part of the integrity of carbon credits is ensuring that there is no double counting and that the credits actually reduce emissions, to comply with #Article6 of the Paris Agreement which governs these transactions. This groundbreaking move was officially announced at the #COP28 launch event in #Dubai, attended by representatives from the @WBG_Climate , Singapore Government, and Tashi Pem, Director General at Department of Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Royal Kingdom of Bhutan.
