Writer question... What do you do when your character has inner thoughts? Do you change the text to italics? What's your stance with this?

@theamelia__ It’s all about patterns, so it depends. I have one friend who can’t use her phone at work, and usually replies at lunch. I have another; who claims she never looks at her phone, but if you go somewhere with her, she can’t stay off of it, so yeah—I think she ignores it.

@gatorgar If you go to a Catholic Mass, you stand when they stand, kneel when they kneel, and sit when they sit. The only part you won’t participate in is getting communion. You will just remain seated when they go up to the alter for that.

Alright Christians, help an ex-atheist and former Democrat out: Can I just walk into a church and sit down? What about mass on Sunday? Is there anything I need to do in advance? I don’t want to start a denominational argument but where do I go? My family needs to go to church.
