@CoachDavidKlein @bornagainHQ That would mean coaches would need to coach not just play fantasy baseball with the good kids that don’t need them to know how to coach. Watered down system.

ALL travel ball programs should take ALL kids then put some in tournaments and develop the others. All kids deserve access to quality coaches, not just the ones that develop early.

I would like to thank the CAL family for making my last 5 years as head coach memorable. I’m thankful to be leaving the program better than I found it. I’m excited for the next chapter as the GM of @Slugger_Science.

I'm not sure I've ever covered high school baseball game in which all six pitchers - 4 from St. X, 2 from CAL - were as talented as last night's. St. X's Ben Tedesco, Quinten Shewmaker, Ty Starke and Luke Lantz and CAL's Jack Perdue and Jacob Price were solid. All college-bound.

UPDATE: Due to rain, the 7th Region game between Christian Academy and St. X will be played at Eastern High School at 8:00pm @CALbsb @StXTigersBSB

Rain went through field is game ready as if we put the sprinklers on it! 6pm is game time!

Alumni baseball players come out tonight at 6pm to cheer on the Centurions! Our field never looked better.

Headed to the state finals in shot put as regional qualifier.
