The Urology department is pleased to announce that our residency alumna Carly Ulrich, DO, will join our faculty this year. She will soon complete the Endourology Fellowship at the University of Kentucky and bring expertise in advanced stone cases and bladder outlet procedures.

The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine's Urology department is proud to celebrate Thank a Resident and Fellow Day.

In 2025, our Urology residents and faculty successfully performed the first iTind procedure in West Virginia, a minimally invasive procedure for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Congratulations to Samuel Deem, DO, MBA, the residents and staff on this milestone and subsequent cases.

The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine Urology department recently celebrated the retirement of Ross Samuel Oliver Jr., MD, at Berry Hills Country Club. Thank you, Dr. Oliver, for your contributions and years of service to patients, resident education and the field of urology.

Vandalia Health CAMC Urology residents recently participated in a soft tissue lab, practicing partial nephrectomy technique on a porcine kidney.

We are proud to celebrate recent scholarly contributions from our residents and faculty, with three articles recently published in journals and platforms including Urology ("The Gold Journal"), Medscape and Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations!

Faculty and residents from the Vandalia Health CAMC Urology Residency enjoyed attending the 5th Annual West Virginia Urologic Association Meeting at Stonewall Resort this past weekend. They were delighted to reconnect with former resident Kellen Choi, DO, who was a guest speaker.
