Following the tragic incident at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, we acknowledge the concern this may cause for our local communities and particularly those in the Jewish community. We want to reassure our communities that we are here for them, and actively increasing our presence at places of worship to foster a sense of security and support.
At this time, there are no known related threats, but we remain vigilant and are monitoring the situation closely. Keeping our communities safe is—and always will be—our top priority.
Every person deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported. No exceptions.

Tonight, Deputy Chief Lauren Jackson & Mark Dapat were out at a RIDE Checkpoint along side officers looking for impaired drivers. We’re pleased to report that no impaired drivers were detected at this location. Please continue to drink responsibly!

Project Winner was a drug trafficking investigation resulting in significant results: •Over $1M in illicit drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine •A loaded handgun and 1000 rounds of ammunition Illegal drugs and guns have no place in our communities. @PeelPolice will continue to crack down on this kind of dangerous behaviour and hold those responsible accountable.
