Gets naman yung goal ng statement. They want to keep things positive and focused on supporting H. Walang problema doon. Pero honestly, may parts na I can't help but feel like hindi talaga natamaan yung main concern. Una, yung “everyone has the right to show support”. Hindi naman yun yung issue. The question isn’t kung pwede ba maging fan. Ang concern is about past behavior and accountability. So when it’s framed that way, parang naiiwasan yung actual point na gustong pag-usapan. Pwede naman siya maging fan, no one is arguing against that. Pero let’s not blur the lines. Public support is open, yes. Pero participation in community spaces, lalo na kung may history, can still be managed. Hindi yun automatic entitlement, and it’s reasonable for people to expect some level of discretion there. If may discretion naman that exists, then let it be known, clearly. Pangalawa, yung “we’re not taking sides” doesn’t really hold. In reality, hindi naman neutral yung ganitong decisions. Allowing someone to still be present, especially after a previous stance, even after an apology (which is still doubted because of some actions made by the person after) is already a position. Kahit sabihin na it’s about fairness, may message pa rin na pinapadala sa community about standards. Pangatlo, bringing in H's family wasn’t necessary. This is a fandom issue. Referencing the family just complicates things and can make it look like ginagamit sila to justify the decision, kahit pa sabihing hindi naman siguro yun yung intention. At the same time, fans also need to stop tagging Heather. Wala siyang role sa ganitong usapan. Dinadamay lang siya unnecessarily. If we’re serious about supporting H, part of that is respecting the boundaries of his family. Hindi sila dapat nadadala sa ganitong situations. Yung “let’s move forward” gets, but medyo premature siya for some people. Hindi naman lahat pare pareho when it comes to processing things. Kung may kulang pa sa clarity or accountability, natural lang na may magtatanong pa rin. Mas okay sana if the concerns were addressed directly instead of reframed into something easier to move past. Also, medyo off din yung “the fanbase knows best” or na we should just focus on supporting H and leave it at that. Oo, support is important. Pero hindi ibig sabihin nun bawal na magtanong or mag-raise ng concerns. Pag ganito kasi, nagiging toxic positivity. Yung tipong kailangan puro good vibes lang, tapos anything na hindi aligned doon, automatic labeled as “negative” or “against.” Eh hindi naman ganun ka-simple. Hindi ka naman hater just because you’re asking questions. Hindi ka rin less supportive dahil may gusto kang linawin. A healthy community can do both at supporting doesn’t mean shutting your brain off.
