Historic austerity measures risk undoing progress to eliminate racial discrimination across the federal public sector. We are calling for concrete steps to prevent discriminatory practices during these massive job cuts.

French language and culture are an integral part of our national identity. We must commit to strengthening French across all government institutions. That starts with ensuring federal translators and interpreters are valued and have a safe working environment.

CAPE President Nathan Prier spoke at a rally at PM Carney’s office to decry health care cuts. In the face of threats in AB and ON, the federal government needs to step in and enforce the Canada Health Act, making sure all Canadians have the services they need. 🛑Stop the cuts!
