#CBCLIPS # 22 A 4-yr old girl has a 5-day history of fever and worsening neck pain. Exam shows a left paramedian, tender, erythematous, neck mass. US shows “thyroiditis” and a CT scan shows an inflammatory mass with abscess formation emanating from the left thyroid. Management?
