@DarrenAdams1967 @DrCraigEmerson And she is entitled to her opinion, however, as the majority of Indigenous peoples expressed their vote in the reconciliation process with the colonisers and it was part of the agreement to include a welcome to acknowledge what lands came before.

@mattsquair @DrCraigEmerson Anzac Day is a political statement… a commemoration of our service people, many killed and injured by the wars created by the politicians of the time. By booing people it disrespects all our peoples, did they boo the NZ national anthem that was sung in the Māori language?

Give up the BS of donating your salary, grifting Donald! Trump visited golf clubs 88 times in 2025, a quarter of his days in office and a cost to taxpayers of $110M. Every trip to his own clubs puts money directly in his pocket. He’s on pace to cost taxpayers $300M this term. 😡

#BREAKING: Psaki: “Back when Joe Biden was in office, every MAGA talking head was OBSESSED with the idea that the son of a president might be profiting off of the presidency. They were shocked, they were incensed, they were pearl-clutching until they broke those pearls. They demanded accountability…Let’s fast forward to today, shall we? That’s right. In the middle of a war that the president started, his adult son is the chief strategy advisor of a company that just so happens to be winning multi million dollar Pentagon contracts.”🙄🤦‍♀️

A leaked video from 2001 shows Israeli PM Netanyahu talking about how Israel intentionally strikes Palestinians “painfully”, how he deceived the US to break the Oslo Accords, and how Americans will always support Israel if it faces backlash.

After they closed my wife’s bank account as a new tool to intimidate me, she tried to open a new account, but it was rejected! Targeting family members constitutes an arbitrary interference with family life, which is protected under Article 17 of ICCPR and Article 12 of UDHR.

BBC BROKE EQUALITY LAW AND GOT CAUGHT Carrie Gracie spent 30 years at the @BBC. She spoke fluent Mandarin. She ran the Beijing bureau. She was one of four international editors, two men and two women. Then in 2017 the BBC was forced to publish salary data. Gracie looked at what her male equivalent, the North America editor, was earning. He was on nearly double her salary. She had explicitly said equal pay was a condition of taking the China role. The BBC agreed. Then quietly paid her far less anyway. She asked for equal pay. The BBC offered her a raise that still left her below the men. She turned it down. She resigned from the China post in January 2018 and published an open letter telling the licence fee public exactly what their broadcaster was doing. The BBC then put her through nearly a year of an internal grievance process that went nowhere. It took three meetings with the Director-General and the threat of an employment tribunal before she got a public apology and the backdated pay owed to her. The total came to £361,000. She donated every penny to the Fawcett Society (@fawcettsociety), the gender equality charity. She said the fight was about principle, not the payout. A publicly funded institution, legally obligated to follow equality law, paid women less than men in identical roles, got caught, dragged it out for a year, and only coughed up under threat of a tribunal. That is not a pay oversight. That is a policy. Gracie did not ask for a favour. She asked for what she was owed. The BBC made her fight for it like it was a privilege. The USDA just handed Palantir a $300 million no-bid contract to consolidate American farm data into a single platform, and the details deserve more attention than they are getting. The deal, built around something called "One Farmer, One File," will give one company a unified digital profile of every farmer in the country, their land, their subsidies, their supply chains, all of it running through the same Foundry platform that already powers ICE deportations and military targeting. Since trump took office, Palantir's federal contracts have nearly doubled, spanning Defense, Homeland Security, ICE, Treasury, Justice, HHS, and now the USDA. The USDA is just the latest door to open, and this one leads straight to the food supply. The company behind all of this was co-founded by Peter Thiel, the creepiest billionaire in a field that has no shortage of competition, a man whose biographer described his politics as essentially longing for a dictator, who launched Palantir with CIA seed money, bankrolled JD Vance's Senate run with $15 million, and once wrote that democracy has been in decline since women's suffrage rendered "capitalist democracy" an oxymoron. Running the day-to-day operation is CEO Alex Karp, who has told investors the company exists to "scare enemies and on occasion kill them," warned audiences that "some people are going to get their heads cut off," and fantasized about spraying Wall Street analysts with fentanyl-laced urine. Former employees have publicly condemned his increasingly violent rhetoric, and a manifesto the company recently posted online was described across the political spectrum as cartoonishly fascist. So when the trump administration hands this particular company a no-bid contract over American agricultural infrastructure, that is not a bureaucratic footnote. Palantir will now have visibility into what farmers grow, how disaster relief gets distributed, how fraud gets flagged, and how foreign land ownership gets monitored, with the full system not expected to be complete until 2028 and years of expansion still ahead. Putting the surveillance architecture of the American security state in charge of the food supply, with zero competitive bidding and minimal public debate, should concern a lot more people than it currently does. farmweeknow.com/general/palant… finance.yahoo.com/sectors/techno… ainvest.com/news/palantir-… 🎩 The Other 98%✨

Fo those that are just seeing the light about Trump, Noel Casler has known Trump since his days in The Apprentice. He has spoken out full-throatedly about Trump but Trump has never gone after him. We all know why. Follow Noel.
NoelCaslerComedy@caslernoel

“I observe daily, folks on-air and in print, acting like the Trump's dysfunction is some recent phenomena - and I can tell you, with first hand knowledge, it has been a part of his life for decades. The drug abuse, racism and predatory behavior I spoke out about beginning in 2015 were no secret on the set of his reality show and beauty pageants. My colleagues allowed NDAs and apathy to keep them quiet, which was not an option for me. Not so much out of bravery but a realization that there was nothing on the other side of a Trump presidency: he is that destructive. However, it still seems quite hard to find a mainstream discussion of the threats we face by his mental instability and addictions. I told Hillary Clinton’s campaign everything I knew about Trump in October 2016. This was after the debate where he compulsively sniffed and menaced her throughout. The outreach was initiated by HRC campaign staff through mutual connections we shared from working on Obama’s two presidential inaugurations and my colleagues that worked on Clinton’s campaign, and they seemed to take me seriously. I think they believed the former First Lady, Secretary of State and U.S. Senator was assured victory after the release of the ‘Access Hollywood’ tapes until the waning moments of her campaign when they were of course blindsided by then F.B.I. Director James Comey’s ill-timed shenanigans. I also believe everyone involved wasn’t truly aware of the extent and efficacy of Russian interference into that election, which continues to power the MAGA machine to this day. Kushner played an outsized role in that interference and has yet to face any real scrutiny or repercussions.”open.substack.com/pub/noelcasler…
