@EvelinaHahne As a child of two only children, it means I also have no aunts, uncles, or cousins. It is a great loss to have no extended family, no one who knew you “back when”. With so many singletons now, many more of the following generation will be without extended family.

If you decide to have just one child, your child should not be the one to bear the consequences of your actions—you should. You are the one who needs to be their playmate.

Finally had a chance tonight to go see one of my favorite Christmas books made into the new movie, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” It was every bit as delightful as the book. Funny, yet the underlying message is powerful. It may be my favorite Christmas movie of all time!

@spooksworth97 @misha_saul I get the sadness they feel. However, I won't pressure mine to have them. The eldest doesn't want them for logical reasons. If she chooses to adopt one day, I'd be glad, but it's her choice. We just tell her to be very honest in her future relationships.
