There's plenty of size left in the portal, even with 7-9 Olivier Rioux off to UC Irvine. There are 48 more 7-footers active in the portal, and here's the tallest of the tall.

Two of the toughest projections in this draft: Chris Cenac and Nate Ament. Both show midrange-heavy profiles at 6-9+, but the context diverges. Houston ranked 10th nationally in midrange rate. Tennessee was 119th. Separating role from skill is where evaluation gets difficult.

11 players transferred from D3 to D1 last offseason. Justin Allen led Green Bay in scoring in 10 games and helped the Phoenix to a +14 win increase, the 4th-largest improvement in the country. Real impact. #DontSleepOnD3

The NIL era is flipping the NBA Draft on its head. Only 71 players entered the 2026 NBA Draft, per the NBA. Down from 106 last year and a peak of 363 in 2021. That's the lowest early-entrant total since 2003. College basketball stars are staying in school, overwhelmingly.

Me'Arah O'Neal is a great fit for Kentucky. Amelia Hassett is off to the WNBA after hitting an SEC-leading 99 three-pointers, the most by any 6-4 player in 13 years. O’Neal made the most threes of any 6-4 player returning to school next season. Clean replacement.

Motiejus Krivas is returning to Arizona, and that's a very big deal. The Wildcats allowed just 37% shooting to their opponents with Krivas on the court this season, the lowest percentage tied to any player in the country.

Perhaps the biggest question about AJ Dybantsa's game was his consistency from the 1st half of games to the 2nd half. Two examples: — Shot 25% on three-pointers in 1st half and 41% in 2nd half — Generated blocks and steals more than 2x as frequently in 1st half than 2nd half

Thomas Haugh’s return to Florida brings a clear opportunity for growth. He was efficient in transition (73%) but shot just 38% in the halfcourt, which accounted for 76% of his FGAs. Improvement in halfcourt efficiency would have an outsized impact on his overall effectiveness.

John Blackwell is a strong addition for Duke, but he struggled in clutch time this season. Blackwell shot 26% in clutch time (7-27 FG), the last 5 minutes when the score was within 6 points. He was 1 of 6 major conference players to score 30 clutch time points on sub-30% shooting this season.
