The conference on Wonderful Algorithms for Bioinformatics (#WABI2025) brought together nearly 70 researchers for a series of talks and networking events focused on algorithms and machine learning tools used to address challenges in molecular biology. Attendees came from local institutions like @NIH, and from as far as @UTokyo_News_en. The @UofMaryland's Robert Patro (@nomad421) was one of the program committee co-chairs, and Mihai Pop was the local chair. The event received technical and administrative support from @umiacs .

I’m truly grateful to be serving as the program chair (along with Prof. Broňa Brejová) of #WABI25 at @umiacs / @umdcs / @UofMaryland , and we are very lucky to have Mihai Pop as the local chair. Day 1 was amazing, and day 2 looks to be just as great! wabiconf.github.io/2025/
