If you got the Unknown Comic and Gene Gene on the same show, it was a banner night.

Who's old enough to remember the unknown comic? 🙋♂️🤣

Some thoughts on the Patriots firing HC Jerod Mayo:
- Overall, it was the right move, in my opinion. Nothing had improved, from on-field product, to team culture, to messaging in the media, since Week 1, and there were no obvious signs it was going to improve in the future.
- Even people within the organization whose jobs could be at stake seemed relieved that ownership was willing to make the right decision, and there was growing frustration over self-inflicted errors.
- Only firing the coordinators was never a good solution. The Patriots lacked top-end candidates last year. Who's going to join a sinking ship? A fresh start will bring in a better staff.
- There's obviously an element here that feels unfair to Mayo. The Patriots' roster was bad. He wasn't ready. He didn't have enough connections around the NFL to assemble a quality staff. But that doesn't mean it wasn't the correct decision.
- Timing makes it obvious the decision was made before Week 18. Obvious question is why let Mayo coach the game? Unsure if another coach would have done a better job tanking given how the Bills played it. Patriots went without Maye, Stevenson, Henry, Gonzalez, etc. Milton was too good, and the Bills were better at losing.
- Krafts now have to get it right. They know how quickly fan support can go south.

@DAN_GLEASON By not doing the smart thing and out-dumping Buffalo ... a No. 1 pick in the draft is a much more valuable asset than a No. 4 pick.

@CBCastleberry How did he intentionally deliver a win, which he hasn't been able to do all season, by playing a 3rd string QB with no NFL experience?

@CBCastleberry been a long time since I've read any non-work* BC, so was pleased you shared this

@WEEIAfternoons Drew Carter is actually terrific. Who isn't is Scalabrine, who's such a homer even Jack Edwards and Tommy Heinsohn would be embarrassed by.

@BangerangRufio2 @Acyn We're all sorry you were unloved as a child.

Cohen: You’ve heard me say it on this show: when China, after Trump becomes president, invades Taiwan; when Russia takes over Ukraine because Trump cuts them off financially as well as militarily and then moves into Poland—remember what I said Trump was going to do? He’s going to see this like the olden days of kings, when it was all about amassing land. I said he was going to take over Canada, and then after Canada, he’s going to roll the military into Mexico, and the new borders will be the shoreline. He sees someone like Vladimir Putin amassing land, and he’s going to do the same himself.

@ErinAndrews Can't believe the shit you've had to put up with over the years ...

Don’t even think you need HD to see them. But appreciating you pointing them out bud!
Mihalis@MikefromManhat1
@NFLonFOX @ErinAndrews @AGENT0__ @dallascowboys Erin Andrews is too old now. Can visibly see the wrinkles on the HD. It’s been a great run for Erin, but it’s time for a younger blonde/brunette to take over.

@CelticsGRD I'd seen him a few times as a Spur. He was solid, but this version is borderline All-NBA. So much of what he does doesn't even show up as a counting stat.

Every Celtics fan that I know that knows ball was excited about the Derrick White trade…
Keith Smith@KeithSmithNBA
The sheer outrage about the Derrick White trade from some Celtics fans was pretty silly at the time. Now, with all that has happened since, it looks downright idiotic. I'm in the business of judging moves in the moment, so I get it. But snap reactions can't go too far one way.

@MatthewBerryTMR Keeper league, kept John Taylor (6th-rd!) and had No. 1 overall pick. Wanted to take Saquon, decided on Tyreek.

Okay it's that time of year. This week's column is my annual "Don't Look Back in Anger". What's the worst move you've made in fantasy this year? A move that made sense in the moment but in hindsight was awful? Screenshots help. Best ones make the column. Use #DONTLOOKBACK24
