To the next generation: speak up and stand up for what you believe. More and more young Canadians are rejecting left wing politics that try to tell them what to think. They want the freedom to think for themselves, build a future, and actually get ahead. They are tired of rising costs, out of reach housing, and a system that is not working for them. In Alberta, we are fixing that with lower taxes, less government, more homes, and stronger job opportunities. I was proud to share that message with a great group of young people at the Campus Conservative Association of Calgary.

WOW!! The Alberta NDP just proved they’re no different from the federal NDP:
 ❌ Shutting down natural gas
❌ Keeping our resources in the ground
❌ Blocking investment in our province

We have an opportunity to secure our economic and energy future! We have some of the largest oil and gas reserves on the planet and the world is in search of reliable, stable and affordable energy. To take advantage of this opportunity, we need to build pipelines and infrastructure to get our oil and gas to tide water. We are on the cusp of greatness! #abpoli #ableg #oil #gas #criticalminerals #canada #alberta #OGGN buff.ly/9D5cjyN

The Rotary Club has a long history of quietly making communities across Alberta stronger. From small towns to big cities, their commitment to service leaves a lasting impact and I was glad to join them to share an update on the State of our Province. Alberta continues to lead the country in economic growth, job creation, and investment. We’ve added 85,000 jobs in the past year alone while other parts of Canada are falling behind. At the same time, we’re making record investments in schools, health care, and critical infrastructure to keep up with our rapid population growth. And in a world facing growing uncertainty, Alberta is stepping up as a reliable energy partner ready to supply what others need. The fundamentals are strong. The momentum is real. And Alberta’s best days are still ahead.

Alberta is the place to be! We’re seeing record-breaking tourism, with a growing number of international visitors choosing Alberta. It’s amazing to see people from around the world falling in love with our province, just like we all have.

It’s official. Alberta is leading the country. We’re attracting investment, creating more jobs than anywhere else, and delivering the strongest paycheques in Canada. And because we keep taxes low, Albertans keep more of what they earn.

Joined the community at St. Andrew’s Parish in Vancouver to remember the 11 innocent souls we lost and all those injured in last year’s Lapu Lapu Day attack in Vancouver. We pray for peace, strength, and unity for their families and loved ones.

The people of the Squamish Nation are leaders and builders. Chief Dale Harry and Chief Ian Campbell talked about how they built 6,000 homes on just 10 acres of land, and are preparing an LNG liquefaction terminal that will deliver generational wealth for their people. Let’s follow their example: cut taxes, slash approval times, and remove red tape to get shovels in the ground on homes, mines, pipelines, ports, terminals, and power plants.

Minister Champagne voted for Alto, spoke in favour of it, and included it in his budget. This is the most expensive project in Canadian history—$8,000 tax dollars from each family. And his partner, as vice president, stands to materially benefit. Canadians deserve answers: conservative.ca/cpc/halt-the-n…

A full day in Brooks meeting with people who are getting things done. Started with Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools, then Grasslands Public Schools, followed by a visit to REDI Enterprises, and wrapped up with the Eastern Irrigation District. We covered everything from education, community supports, and the importance of irrigation to growth and agriculture in this region. Appreciate everyone’s insight today.

Can politicians grow the economy? I’m skeptical, but governments can create the conditions for growth. So, what have we done? We lowered personal income taxes down to 8%, saving families an extra $1,500 per year allowing families to keep more of what they earn. 💰 We secured a landmark energy MOU with Ottawa setting the conditions for new pipelines. 🛢️ We have also provided more certainty to ratepayers in our electricity market so to shield them from spiking prices. 💡 Our agri-processing investment tax credit is helping our farmers and ranchers get more Alberta products to market. 🌾 We brought down your rent by helping the private sector build new homes, faster. 🏠 A growing economy means we can strengthen our core services like healthcare and education, seniors care, and infrastructure. 👨‍⚕️ On top of this, Alberta is up 85,000 jobs over the past year. ⬆️ And we’re just starting.

True story. Fixing one of the government's legacy IT systems was going to cost $54 million dollars... Instead, Minister Nate Glubish @nateglubish and his team built it in house and brought down costs by 20 times. Here's how they did it: open.substack.com/pub/nateglubis…

Across our military history, Canadians have always stood with courage to fight for what is right. But the Battle of Vimy Ridge was particularly unique. 109 years ago, our young nation proved it was capable of greatness. Canadians showed extraordinary courage against impossible odds, and 3,598 paid the ultimate price. They didn’t fight for recognition. They fought for each other, and for the future of our country. Today, we honour their sacrifice and commit to protecting and defending the Canada they built. Lest we forget.

Today, we remember the Canadian soldiers who fought their way up Vimy Ridge in 1917. Among them were Albertans – farm kids, labourers, and students – tough as nails and unwilling to back down. More than 10,600 Canadian soldiers were killed or wounded, including over 3,600 who never came home. We remember their courage and sacrifice. Lest we forget.

Great to spend time with our UCP board in Brooks–Medicine Hat. Like so many Albertans, they were glad to see our government take action last week to reduce politicization in the classroom and increase safety in schools. I want to thank them for their continued service to their communities and for standing up for policies that protect our kids.
