A shipment from Ghana heading to Indianapolis was manifested as fake bracelets. When Cincinnati CBP examined the package, they didn’t exactly find bracelets they found 16 designer watches that violated protected trademarks. If real, these watches would’ve been worth over $300K.

At O’Hare last week, a passenger from Liberia was referred to AG Secondary to have their bags x-rayed. Some anomalies were identified & AG Specialists examined the luggage & found over 2lbs of porcupine meat. The meat was denied entry due to human health concerns & destroyed.

A passenger from Congo believed the food they were bringing was fine; it was not. In the passenger’s suitcase O’Hare Agriculture Specialists found 11lbs of beans w/ pests, 17lbs of unknown plants, & 4lbs of nonhuman primate meat. These items are prohibited, seized, & destroyed.

DHS teams in Illinois apprehended a criminal alien linked to a South American Theft Group and on the Terrorist Screening Dataset. Subject is in ICE custody pending immigration court. #CBP #DHS #Enforcement

Louisville CBP seized 115 phony watches, bearing protected marks from: Rolex, Cartier, Patek Phillippe, Bvulgari, Blancpain, Movado, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Tag Heuer, & Chanel. Also counterfeit makeup from Gucci, Dior, & Chanel were seized. In total, if real, the MSRP is $2.18M.

A shipper in Hong Kong tried to ship their counterfeit goods to a residence in Orlando, however, Louisville CBP found these shipments of fakes, 11 Richard Mille watches and 2 Monaco Chain bracelets, and seized them. Had these items been real, the MSRP was almost $3.5 million.

CBP officers in Indianapolis stopped and inspected a shipment heading to Georgia. Officers found and seized the counterfeit Love bracelets with diamonds bearing the protected trademark of Cartier. Had these been genuine, the MSRP for these bracelets would have been $856K.

A holiday feast of prohibited items. Chicago Agriculture specialists seized these items from an inbound Ecuadorian flight: 4lbs of pork sausage, 4lbs of raw chicken, 5lbs of tree tomatoes, 3lbs of garden eggs, 3 passion fruit, and 2 avocados.

Counterfeit holiday shopping in 1 box. Cincinnati CBP halted a shipment w/ 14 Rolex Yacht Master watches, 10 LV T-shirts, a D&G T-Shirt, a pair of Armani child shoes, 3 pairs of LV54 kid’s shoes, 6 pairs of LV54 Adult shoes, & a pair of Nike Air child shoes. MSRP, if real, $494K.

Thinking of holiday shopping, the counterfeiters are planning on it. Louisville CBP recently foiled a shipment of 37 counterfeit bracelets bearing the name of Cartier. These bracelets, if real, would have had a MSRP of $440K. Be critical of where you shop or you may lose your $$.

Yum Yum for your Tum Tum!. CBP Agriculture Specialists at O’Hare found 16 pounds of goat intestines/tripe in a passenger’s bag from Gambia. The passenger did declare it, however, Agriculture Specialists seized these intestines as they are prohibited.

Last night CBP Agriculture Specialists in Cincinnati x-rayed a passenger’s luggage arriving from Ghana. Anomalies were noticed and specialists performed a physical examination. Inside CBP found 8lbs of raw pork and 8.5lbs of African rodent bushmeat. Both were seized & destroyed.

Earlier this month, CBP officers in Louisville stopped a shipment from Hong Kong. The shipment was listed as wrist watches, which was true, but what they didn’t include is these wrist watches are counterfeit Richard Mille. The 10 watches, if real, would’ve had a MSRP of $18.8M.

Purchasing unapproved medications for weight loss is dangerous. Louisville CBP stopped a shipment from Hong Kong heading to NJ. Officers found 798 containers w/ 30 GLP1 patches each – a total of 23,940 patches. These violated the Federal Food, Drug, & Cosmetic Act & were seized.

On a flight originating from Congo, a traveler was referred to Secondary Inspection. Their bags were inspected after anomalies were seen. Officers found 5lbs of bushmeat specifically monkey meat. The meat was seized and destroyed per CDC regulations due to health human concerns.

85 counterfeit bracelets, bearing the Cartier trademark, were recently seized by Louisville CBP. If real, the MSRP would’ve been $856K. CBP protects the intellectual property rights of American businesses safeguarding them from unfair competition & use for malicious intent.
