It didn’t sit well with me that yesterday I so quickly started focusing on the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills when the former one did enough to deserve a proper sendoff. Sean McDermott didn’t win it all, but he left this team in a heck of a better place than he found it.

I think McDermott was a great coach. Marv Levy and Sean McDermott were the 2 Best coaches in the Bills history. Both very similar in win percentage. McDermott had the total win upper hand with 65% and Levy at 61%. However come playoffs Levy had a small upper hand at 58% winning percentage over McDermott's 50%. Marv had 3 more years to work as well as Sean's tenure ended after 9 years. This last loss vs Denver that led to Sean's firing I believe was of no fault to him. 3 total shit calls to include the 2 PI against Tre White and the total blown shit call where Cooks caught the ball cleanly, retained possession, landed on his back in which play was over and the defender stripped the ball from him was a total fuck up on the refs part and also the replay booth. Game over at that point. That being said I feel the biggest problem this year is we couldn't afford to get a true stud receiver for Josh. The salary cap and Money wasn't in the cards for that especially after Cook whining, sitting out and getting a huge contract at the start of the season. While Cook has proven especially this year that he is worth every cent I wonder if he would in hind site wait for his big contract until next year knowing that the small sacrifice would allow us to get a Stud WR1 and possibly win a Super Bowl. There is only so much loot to go around and Josh has made concessions lowering his pay to help key players to stay. Its a mess. I don't think answer was firing Sean McDermott. Time will tell and I hope I'm wrong. Just really hoping that we don't go through another 17 year playoff drought because all of the no common sense fickle fans think that the grass is always greener. In my opinion we just fired a good one. 3 bad ref calls and a sloppy game from the goat Josh lost the game. Not Sean McDermott
