A very proud day in CBS, where the Amber Flag Committee raised the Amber Flag they successfully achieved in May last. Well done to all involved today. Please keep an eye on notice boards to see what the Committee have planned this year to promote positive mental health.

Today we recognised the vital work of our amazing SNAs as part of SNA Appreciation Day. Rachel, Sarah and Jess are pivotal to the success and support of our students.

Afterschool science club starting Monday 29th September from 16:15 to 17:15 in the New Lab with Mr Curran.

1.2 History class with their teacher Ms. Butler had a great time excavating chocolate chips from cookies today! It helped them learn the difficulties of the job of an archaeologist whilst also having a little treat at the end!!!

🫀🧪 2.1 Science have been busy exploring the fascinating world of biology through a heart dissection this week. This practical activity gave students the opportunity to see first-hand how the structure of the heart supports its vital role in pumping blood around the body.

Ty’s and some 6th years attended the world skills in the RDS today with Ms. Butler, Ms. Codd, Mr. Halligan and Ms. Sinnott. #worldskills

Thanks to Katie Meeks Leinster YDO for inviting some of our rugby players to referee and primary school tag blitz today. The students from TY and 5th year had a great opportunity to learn and take on leadership roles.

'The Great Gatsby that 100 - Schools Masterclass'. 5th year students joined leading national and international experts, in St. Michael's Theatre, for an engaging masterclass exploring the lasting legacy of The Great Gatsby. Thank you to the Kennedy Summer School for inviting us.

Our new 1st years enjoyed a bonding afternoon today, playing Olympic Handball, completing a treasure hunt and played some ice breaker games to get to know each other better with their Meitheal leaders.

Congratulations to the LC Class of 2025 who received their LC exams today. We are so proud of you all and wish you well. It was lovely to see so many faces return to school today to share their achievements with their teachers and each other. #lc2025
