The NFL will require stadiums—including international game hosts—to adhere to certain playing surface standards by 2028. The league will provide each team with a list of “approved and accredited NFL fields” by next season, including natural, artificial, or hybrid standards.

The NFL and NFL Players Association have agreed to a new model for selecting playing surfaces in stadiums, one that will require teams to choose from an approved set of manufacturers and styles for both natural and synthetic fields, via @SeifertESPN. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…
