The next storm is here. Snow is beginning to fall, the temperature is dropping, and the wind is picking up. We are forecast to receive another 36-48" of snow starting now. We may be closed longer, so please check back for more information. How is the weather where you are?

TRAIL CONDITIONS: We strongly recommend snowshoes or skis if you want to check out the North Grove this weekend! The rain has melted enough snow to make footing unstable. There will be a snowshoe guided hike tomorrow at 11:30. #KnowBeforeYouGo #winterstorm #bigtrees

Park and Visitor Center Oen Today Friday

The park is now OPEN! Keep in mind the weather is nice today but forecasted to be snowy and rainy Wednesday through the end of the week. #KnowBeforeYouGo #bigtrees

The Visitor Center area only of the park will be open today 3/3/23. The VC will be open, 10am-4pm The North Grove Campground will be closed. The park will close Saturday 3/4/23 because of new storm. We do not know when we will reopen after that, but it will be a few days.

UPDATE: The park and Visitor Center are closed today (Tuesday) and will be through tomorrow (Wednesday March 1). The blizzard conditions are predicted to continue through the night, easing up early tomorrow morning. However, the snow will be too deep to open the park.
