What an achievement for @LincolnCity_FC with one of the smaller budgets in League 1 too. Michael Skubala has worked wonders but they’re a well run club with Liam Scully (CEO) and Jez George (DofF).

As a teenager, losing consecutive playoffs, it felt like success just wasn't for us as #Imps. It's utterly incredible how far we've come. From being relegated into non-league a month short of 15 years ago, to being promoted to the Championship 9 years after returning to the EFL.

For the first time in 65 years, Lincoln City have sealed promotion to the Championship after a 2-1 win at Reading 👏

Congratulations to @LincolnCity_FC , who have secured promotion to the Championship under head coach Michael Skubala. It will be the first time they have been in England’s second tier since 1961. 📈 They are currently unbeaten in 24 league games👏
