Thanks to the remarkable generosity of donors and the vision of President Kitts, the UNA Board of Trustees, University and community leaders, several significant steps moved forward today with Bank Independent Stadium! The UNA Board of Trustees approved two resolutions related to the stadium project. The first resolution approved construction of a multipurpose turf facility at Cox Creek Park that will allow @UNAAthletics to mobilize immediately as we prepare for next steps regarding Bank Independent Stadium. The second resolution approved Phase I of the Bank Independent Stadium Complex, which includes groundwork for the full site and construction of a baseball facility. Site layout was released today while stadium design continues. We look forward to sharing more as the design progresses.
