The “all of the horses in the Kentucky Derby are related to Secretariat” thing is getting tired real quick. Same with “my horse is related to Secretariat” or anything adjacent.
Secretariat is not at all something rare in the modern thoroughbred pedigree.. in-fact most have him.

@24_mehmt @Kontenasan_bf Stamina isn't seen as favourable amongst breeders iirc. I think it is some other factors as well but don't know the specifics. I know in the UK a lot of horses avoid the St Leger due to it's winners being seen more as National Hunt / Steeplechase Sires over Flat.

If Croix du Nord loses, even fewer top middle-distance G1 horses will target the Tenno Sho Spring in the future.
In that sense too, I really want Croix du Nord to win properly here.
