I didn't even realize the obsession with sports leading to liberalism or complacency until @TexasPreacher started pointing it out, but once you see it.. you can't unsee it.

Last year I got a call from a man at Josh Buice’s church who said he needed to apologize. He'd been told by Buice that I had blown up the churches I planted or some such nonsense and had believed it without ever checking the facts. This was during the time I was speaking against hyper-cessationism & celebrity conferences, and Buice wanted to discredit my arguments by spreading bald-face lies. More recently, I was told that someone in TX has said I'm not a member of any church. I don’t know the details or whether it's connected to the Buice slander, but I want to go on record: I am a minister and elder in good standing with Vanguard Presbyterian Church, and I have served on staff at Lubbock Reformed Church for nearly five years, a church I planted and which now has 3 other elders and 4 deacons. In fact, I preached there this past Lord’s Day. So yes, I'm a member of a church. Even though I've been doing more itinerant preaching & evangelism in this season of life, I'm in constant communication with the other elders at Lubbock Reformed Church, usually daily. The other church I planted is doing great, and the church we are currently planting is in a really healthy spot. I could care less if people slander me, it comes with the territory, but since I've heard this twice now I wanted to set the record straight even though I'm still dumbfounded about its genesis. And while I'm at it, I'm also not a charismatic, lol.

@ZacharyGarris Critics of Latin often don’t understand its benefits lie with creating precise thinkers and even more precise writers at a very young age.

If Christians want to produce highly-qualified pastors, then parents must: (1) do regular family worship. (2) catechize their children. (3) promote a culture of reading. (4) find a way to educate their sons in Greek, Latin, philosophy, history & theology.

@TexasPreacher “If you believe in evolution, you’re really saying God never made man perfect, but is bringing him to perfection. Therefore there is no true sin. But the Bible teaches man was made perfect and that he fell from that perfection.” - MLJ

Evolution is one of the dumbest ideas ever propounded by man. Professing to be wise, they became fools.

Christmas is a mixed bag. First, it is not a biblical holy day. Scripture never commands it, and Christians need to be careful of treating it as essential Christianity. Once a day gets loaded with spiritual weight that God never put on it, it quickly slips into superstition, something the old Reformers would not have hesitated to call a popish festival. This is at present a greater danger than people realize. And don't get me started on Santa, that devilish idol to whom we've attributed God-like attributes: he sees you while you're sleeping; gives gifts based on if you've been naughty or nice; etc. May that name never grace our family's hearth. That said, I believe a day like Christmas can be a real kindness, especially when it brings families together and gives friends & even enemies a reason to sit at the same table. It opens doors that would otherwise be shut. It creates natural moments for hospitality and reconciliation. For many, it is also one of the few times in the year when spiritual things are at least briefly considered. I also see no sin in using the day to think about the incarnation and birth of the Lord Jesus. If it is good and right to meditate on Christ’s incarnation on any day of the year, then it can't make it wrong to do so on Dec 25. So whatever we do with the day, I say we give thanks to God, not for Christmas itself, but for the gift behind it, His own Son, given for sinners - and look for ways to use the season for God's glory & our neighbor's good.

Ben Shapiro: Reparations don’t work. Charlamagne: They worked for Jewish people. (They *still* receive HoIocaust reparations) Shapiro: Erm, uh, that's totally different!

Reformation is not an attempt at new Christianity. Reformation is retrieval of true Christianity.

One problem with some versions of “replacement theology” is that by replacing the Old Testament entirely with the New, it replaces God the Father with God the Son and thus reduces the Trinity from three persons in one God to two. This is rank heresy, not Christianity at all.

If you continue to insist that Mormons are Christian, then Christians will continue to demonstrate that they are not. It's that simple.

BREAKING: Utah County DA reads the full text message exchange between Charlie Kirk’s assassin and his transgender boyfriend/roommate after committing the murder: ROBINSON: "Drop what you're doing, look under my keyboard." ROOMMATE: "You are joking right?" ROBINSON: "I am still okay, my love. Shouldn't be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest, I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you." ROOMMATE: "You weren't the one who did it, right?" ROBINSON: "I am, I am, I'm sorry." ROOMMATE: "I thought they caught the person." ROBINSON: "No, they grabbed some crazy old dude, then interrogated someone in similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle from my drop point shortly after, but most of that side of town got locked down. It's quiet, almost enough to get out, but there's one vehicle lingering." ROOMMATE: "Why?" ROBINSON: "Why did I do it? I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out. If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence. Going to attempt to retrieve it again. Hopefully they have moved on. I haven't seen anything about them finding it." ROOMMATE: "How long have you been planning this?" ROBINSON: "A bit over a week, I believe. I can get close to it, but there is a squad car parked right by it. I think they already swept that spot, but I don't want to chance it. I'm wishing I had circled back and grabbed it as soon as I got to my vehicle. I'm worried what my old man would do if I didn't bring back Grandpa's rifle. IDEK if it had a serial number, but it wouldn't trace to me. I worry about prints. I had to leave it in a bush where I changed outfits. I might have to abandon it and hope they don't find prints." "How the F will I explain losing it to my old man? Only thing I left was the rifle wrapped in a towel. Remember how he was engraving bullets? The F in messages are mostly a big meme. If I see notice bulge U-W-U on Fox News, I might have a stroke, all right, I'm gonna have to leave it. That really F in sucks. Judging from today, I'd say grandpa's gun does just fine IDK. I think that was a 2K dollar scope." "Delete this exchange. My dad wants photos of the rifle. He says, Grandpa wants to know who has what. The feds released a photo of the rifle and it is very unique. He's calling me, RN. Not answering. Since Trump got into office, my dad has been pretty diehard MAGA. I'm gonna turn myself in willingly. One of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff. Again, you are all I worry about love. Don't take any interviews or make any comments. If any police ask you questions, ask for a lawyer and stay silent."
