Always a treat to return to Malden Parochial today . We had some lovely learning sessions with our book Super Sydney and our new book Curls Curls Curls. Year 4, 5 and 6 created some amazing poems. Here is one written by three of the Year 6 children inspired by Curls Curls Curls.

Lions enjoyed a fantastic workshop with @CCBooksUK where they shared the story I’m Better Than You. They then needed to work together to complete a jigsaw whilst connected. They showed super problem solving and cooperation. #WeAreLeo @LEOenglish0 #worldbookday

Yesterday, we were visited by author Karen Lord and illustrator Shanee Buxton who ran workshops. We learnt about the book making process, they read us their stories and taught us some British sign language. What a wonderful start to our World Book Day celebrations! #CCBooksUK
