Two new industrial facilities have commenced operations at the 𝑳𝒆𝒌𝒌𝒊 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒁𝒐𝒏𝒆 in Nigeria, developed by @CCECCNigeria. These projects—a building materials production line and an agro-input facility—are set to boost local supply capacity and create new employment opportunities in the region.

Project Update | Djibouti CCECC has signed the Phase II and III works of the ATLS Oil Tank Storage Foundation Treatment Project at Doraleh Multipurpose Port. Covering 11.4 hectares, the project will support the development of energy storage and transportation infrastructure.

Sections 1 and 2 of the Battambang Water Supply System in Cambodia, built by CCECC, are now operational. The project includes a 50,000-ton/day water treatment plant and 96km of pipelines, serving over 80,000 residents and improving access to tap water.

The Shoulder to Shoulder on the Same Path exhibition, themed on the TAZARA Railway, has opened in Lusaka, Zambia. Featuring works by Zambian and Chinese artists, it brings to life the landscapes and stories along this enduring “friendship road.”

The NRS headquarters in Abuja, built by @CCECCNigeria , is now operational. The 16-floor complex includes three towers for over 3,000 staff, integrating administration, data processing, and public services.

Happy World Earth Day! From connection to coexistence—on the 𝑹𝒆𝒆𝒎 𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 in Abu Dhabi, CCECC minimized impacts on mangroves and supported ecological restoration, helping around 6,000 mangrove trees thrive along the coast.

The Angiama-Oporoma bridge in Bayelsa State, built by CCECC Nigeria, has been completed and opened to traffic. The 630m bridge across the Nun River improves connectivity between Yenagoa and Southern Ijaw, replacing ferry transport and enhancing travel and freight efficiency.

The Huancavelica Highway Project in Peru, built by CCECC, has been completed. The 207.8km route cuts travel time from 16 to 6 hours, improving connectivity in Peru’s highland region and supporting regional development.

The Ethiopian Electric Power Research and Development Center Project, built by CCECC, has reached a major construction milestone with the structural topping-out of its main building—the largest office building within the development. Located in Addis Ababa, the project has a site area of approximately 150,000 m², with a gross floor area of around 120,000 m². Throughout construction, the team optimized planning through BIM modeling and leveraged digital platforms to support integrated project management. Close collaboration between Ethiopian and Chinese teams, supported by bilingual technical briefings and joint safety inspections, has ensured steady progress.

Ethiopia’s National Bank branch project reaches a new milestone–the main structure of the Dire Dawa branch has been successfully topped out! This is another significant milestone for the series of projects, following the Hawassa Branch. Located in the heart of the city, the project spans approximately 22,000 ㎡ and boasts comprehensive facilities. With this key node completed, the project is entering a new phase, and construction is steadily progressing on site.

CCECC signed the Shinyanga Water Supply Project in Tanzania. The project, located in Shinyanga Municipality, will include new water reservoirs, towers, and related facilities, as well as the rehabilitation of existing systems. It also covers the laying of 287 km of distribution pipelines, household connections for 2,000 families, and 30 automated water kiosks. Once completed, it will provide safe and clean drinking water to around 200,000 residents in the area.

The Cajamarca Road Management, Improvement and Maintenance Project for Corridor No. 11 in Peru has officially been handed over. Constructed by CCECC, the 246.68-km road runs through mountainous terrain at elevations of 1,500–2,800 meters above sea level. The works included upgrading the existing road, paving the full route with asphalt, and improving drainage and traffic safety facilities. With the upgrade complete, travel along the corridor is now smoother, and local farmers can transport their produce more easily.

Welcoming Chinese New Year in Dubai! Over 200 CCECCers, family members, and partners came together to celebrate—sharing festive greetings and joyful moments. The day featured performances, skits, dance, calligraphy, and fun raffles, with laughter and cheer filling the air.
