Early Childhood Advisory Council & Judy Center Steering Committee members built understanding of the powerful role life experiences (stressors and supports) have on early brain development by playing the Brain Architecture game.

Ms. Lawyer's fifth grade learners at Eldersburg Elem. described MLK Jr.'s dream for our country by reading "I Have a Dream" and displayed their dreams for 2022 on a collaborative poster @Library_EES @CCPSPerformance

Ms. Utz's fifth graders at Eldersburg Elem. analyzed how bird adaptations support survival and how the adaptations change in relation to the environment by collecting data from bird beak investigations @CCPSPerformance @Library_EES

What a FANTASTIC Pre-K cafe' at Robert Moton! 14 parents/caregivers attended breakfast provided by Chick-Fil-A. Each family received a learning kit focused on the domains of learning and two books from the Judy Center Early Learning Hub. @CCPSPerformance @CCPS_RMEmustang

First graders in Ms. Gambrill's math class at William Winchester represented two-digit numbers up to 100 using base ten blocks. @CCPSroadrunners @CCPSPerformance

So grateful for Lara, Kyrsten, Shannon and Amy our valued early childhood partners at Head Start who are facilitating Circle of Security: an 8 week Interactive Parenting Program focusing on strategies and tools to be used with young children at home. @CCPSPerformance

During today's Judy Center Steering Committee meeting, the partner spotlight was shared by Joyce Tierney who highlighted examples of how Human Services Programs continue to serve and support families in Carroll County. @CCPSPerformance
