Breaking: The latest #CABudget is expected to double down on the fight against hate with a major investment in AAPI communities. Thank you, Governor @GavinNewsom and @AAPILegCaucus for showing up for our communities once again and recommitting to the #APIEquityBudget.

Our hearts go out to the victim of the stabbing at AA Bakery yesterday. We have met with the victim and are providing services. We urge the public to not circulate rumors or speculate on details of the incident, as this remains an active SFPD investigation. Full statement here:

It is unacceptable that DA Brooke Jenkins has decided not to file charges against the armed security guard who killed Banko Brown. Let's join this action happening tmrw in front of the DA's office to demand that she hold Michael Earl-Wayne Anthony accountable for killing Banko.

@YoungWomenFree Hear directly from the folks who knew Banko and shared their pain and grief at the Board of Supervisors meeting this past Tuesday. A 🧵 by @sfstandard: twitter.com/sfstandard/sta…

WATCH: At an @sfbos meeting, commenters weighed in on DA @BrookeJenkinsSF’s decision not to charge a Walgreens guard in the killing of Banko Brown. Many said it exemplified continuing inequality for POC & trans people in SF. Brown, who was unarmed, was Black and trans. (1/5)

@MichaelPetrelis We have been in touch with the organizers and they plan for a short program with no elected officials speaking. This is a space for the community to come together.

We condemn the recent attacks in San Francisco targeting two Chinese seniors. Both incidents of violence have left victims seriously injured and traumatized, and we want to share the work we've been doing on the ground to support the victims.
