Today Year 7 had Numeracy Day and solved a Maths mystery. They solved one clue per lesson throughout the day to find out a holiday destination. We had some extremely enthusiastic learners who thoroughly enjoyed the tasks. Da iawn blwyddyn 7! @CCYD_school @CCYD_Maths @CcydYear7

Celebrate International Women's Day by watching one of my favourite films - Hidden Figures. It tells the story of Katherine Johnson whose calculations while working at NASA were critical to the first crewed space flights. What an inspiration! @CCYD_Maths @CCYD_school
