The Ravens are on the hunt for their next punter and have reportedly held a private workout with Elon Phoenix punter Jeff Yurk. A true field-flipper, Yurk has a career-long punt of 74 yards. If he replicated it in the NFL, that would equal the current Ravens franchise record. Aside from his exploits as a punter, he also has experience as a kickoff specialist and a holder. Both of which are handy positives for the Ravens. Randy Brown, senior special teams coach in Baltimore and specialist legend, has already had a close up look at Jeff, as he runs the specialist showcase!

The Orioles bullpen is BAD right now, but I don't think it stays that way all season. Helsley and Nunez are legit (I think). Rico Garcia has been great since the moment he threw on an O's uniform. Wells will figure it out. Enns is a solid lefty arm. That leaves Wolfram, Hiraldo and Cano as the big question marks. I'd bet they send down Hiraldo and Cano when Akin and Kittredge are healthy, giving Baltimore a bullpen of: Rico Garcia (RHP), Tyler Wells (RHP), Dietrich Enns (LHP), Keegan Akin (LHP), Grant Wolfram (LHP), Anthony Nunez (RHP), Tyler Wells (RHP) and Ryan Helsley (RHP). I'd bank on that being Baltimore's bullpen at some point in April. Only time will tell if that's a good enough unit to help us win games.
