@ScotAmFA can someone please clarify what the procedure is with referee fees in the cup? We travelled to Edinburgh 2 weeks ago paid normal fees (£50) however we were made pay £74 today (£37 per team) and told this was for mileage, but later were told the ref was “local” Thanks

@bhoyintheburgh Nothing weird about that. I went to Naples circa 2008 and seen a local wearing a Diadora t-shirt. It wasn’t an official SFA one but the affinity was still there so I game him a nod, blew my fox 40 and flashed a yellow card at him. No words exchanged and I got on my way. #Demonref

My partner finds it weird that when we’re on holiday, if I spot another Celtic fan (strip, merch, whatever) I’ll just give a wee nod and an “alright, hail hail” as I walk past. No chat, no follow up. Just the unspoken club. Anyone else do this?

@markmcguire04 I almost had my worst experience this weekend as well, Mark. I never had an afternoon game on Saturday but ended up with 5 so all’s well that ends well. Keep your chins up. #Demonref

@JunoCasper17 @PaulTheMediaMan I used to do 2 at a time on the pitches at Kirktonholme before the renovation. Spectators weren’t allowed to stand between the pitches so I had a good view. I just walked up and down between the pitches with the cagoule on. Most I’ve done using the tablet was 14. #Demonref

@JunoCasper17 @PaulTheMediaMan That’s understandable, you’re probably looking at other refs and wondering how I do it. I’m not like these guys, I’m the #Demonref. You’ll see it soon with others talking about starting midweek games. My midweek games never stop. I never postpone a game for weather either.
