I haven't prayed Salah in a long time, I started praying at 10 year old and haven't missed a single prayer for 8+ years but now, I have not touched a prayer mat in half a year. I do not care anymore.

The reasoning behind it was smart however, it was the same as the reasoning behind Janissaries, these people would not be able to establish new noble houses or families to contend with the existing ones yet they could still benefit the empire.

The funny thing is Byzantines used to buy castrated child slaves and convert them to Eastern Orthodoxy (unless they already where) to serve in the courts and establishments.
YorsTruly✙@tenbuchira

@CCkvtr @daltondoescoins @DavyJones0931 @Idkjoz5 oh, so taking away children to convert them is a good thing because theyre young? duly noted

@tenbuchira @daltondoescoins @DavyJones0931 @Idkjoz5 Which material retard? Even the most established land under the caliphates like the Levant which was the capital at some point or a place like Egypt which was one of the largest establishments and producers took hundreds of years to become majority Muslim.

@tenbuchira @daltondoescoins @DavyJones0931 @Idkjoz5 I never said it is good idiot, it was not. But it was not a system that attempted to convert Greece or the Balkans as a whole which you retards claim. Anyways similar things happened to Turks by Greeks like John Axouch, obviously not at the same scale. Romans did the same

"It is impossible," says Muhammad, "for God to generate a Son, because he lacks a wife." A sentiment worthy of its author! — Fr. Charles Rene Billuart, Mystery of the Holy Trinity, Page 10.

@Smasher3501 Iran was majority Muslim by then, anyways do you not notice how inconsistent you're being here? One second you're saying Arabs did not force Islam and then saying Arabs did in another tweet. Bring me your source for Al Mahdi forcing taghlib to convert.

@CCkvtr Islam was forced upon Iranians, but not by Arabs. The Safavids forced Islam upon Iranians. Until the Safavids took over Iran, a lot of Iranians remained unconverted Zoroastrians despite almost 900 years of Islamic rule.

@Smasher3501 No source Al Mahdi forced them to convert, literally unfound. Their most mass conversions also happened after all Mahdi under al muttasim. Abbasids did not force Islam.

@CCkvtr The Abbasids in the 9th century forced Banu Taghlib to convert to Islam, before the 9th century the Banu Taghlib were Christians. Same for the Tanukhids who stayed mostly Christians in the Umayyad era but the Abbasid caliph al Mahdi in 779-80 forced them to convert to Islam.

Nigga said Banu Taghlib got forced to convert even though they where probably the most dominant Christian arabs in the ummayed and early abbasid era 😂😂😂😂
ܓܒܪܐܝܠ@JibrailGaboro

@CCkvtr @PunishedLu Not necessarily Umayyads, Christians of Banu Uqayl and Banu Kalb by Abu Bakr, many Najranites were expelled to the Levant and Mesopotamia although many remained, and slowly over time Banu Taghlib (and yes they were enforced jizya just by another name).

@CCkvtr @JibrailGaboro @PunishedLu The Abbasids started forcing Christians to convert to Islam. In the Umayyad era, most of the Banu Taghlib, most of the Tanukhids, even a lot of Kalbids remained Christians. They converted to Islam during the Abbasids by force/pressure.

@Smasher3501 Nah mass conversions to Islam already happened in Iran before hand, by then the majority was a Muslim with some zoroastrian presence. Also you can not even make a consistent story you say Abbasids forced Islam one second and then say they did not and Safavids did lol

@CCkvtr @QuinnEFischer Here are sources about how the Safavids decimated Zoroastrianism in Iran. Ironically "anti Islam" Iranians (more like anti Arabs hiding behind anti Islam) who spread lies about Arabs "forcing Islam" will celebrate the Safavids who actually forced Islam

MENA Christians will be balls deep into random obsecure fiqh books to try to give lay Muslims doubt but then when you ask them the most basic questions about their tradition they start spewing nonsense like this R/virgin according to Copt law is not met with death.

Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406) criticized past historians for accepting legends at face value. Take the myth of Alexander the Great and the Alexandrian monsters. His issue wasn't that sea monsters don't exist. But that jinn don't operate this way, and no ruler would take such a risk.
