@RealKhaylee @ShamashAran To be fair, we have criticized Kavanaugh and John Roberts when it was warranted. Women on the court will probably be judged (heh) more harshly because of the DEI stigma, even if it isn't fair.

You mean Barrett or the grifter quoted? lol I wouldn't say Barrett is weak at all. If she were, she would've changed her vote on the Dobbs ruling or found some way to get enjoy justices to do an opinion where they punted. Barret's judicial philosophy has been very consistent, and I would not come to the conclusion that Breanna has and say that Barrett's rulings are out of character. Each and every opinion she's drafted, whether it was one for "our side" or not, has been well written and backed up by persuasive arguments on interpretation of the law. A lot of Barrett's critics, like Breanna, seem to come to this conclusion that she's Amy "Commie" Barrett, because she's not a rubber stamp for Trump. Which is ridiculous. The hilarious thing is that people always want to dig at her, but there's no criticism for some of the male justices. Kavanaugh was the swing vote on the Cook matter, preventing Trump from firing Cook from the Fed. Barrett was in favor of it.

Weak women will be the destruction of us all. IF you are a woman, and demand a seat at the table, if you are weak like this? you should be forcibly shoved away and someone stronger should replace you.

@sanson_ganbaru @planefag Sailor Moon is well known in the US, though it wasn't the huge phenomenon it was in Japan. Also, Robotech was a combination of Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada. I think Harmony Gold combined them to make enough episodes for a typical US syndication run at 5 days a week.

I recently sold my first novel, to a subsidiary of Kadokawa, the major Japanese publishing house. The plot is "Sailor Moon ("magical girls") and dudes in robot suits; together, they Fight Evil." Please tell me how to explain THIS to a 70yo family friend without it sounding odd.

@alexthechick @AdolphsonFalkk If a woman confesses feelings to a male friend, and he rejects her, would she stay friends with him? I'd have to think not - it's awkward AF, for a start. So I don't understand why so many women don't seem to understand when a guys does it. What is he supposed to do?
