Wilberforce was an incredibly enriching time for me. The teaching throughout the week were both engaging and highly insightful, shedding light on issues that are increasingly impacting the Church and society. I left with a fresh zeal for the Lord and continue to have a deep conviction to follow Him in all I do, regardless of societal pressures. I am still inspired by the people I met at Wilberforce and am continually challenged and encouraged by them. I would highly recommend the Wilberforce Academy to anyone who has a desire to live a life that is faithful to the Lord and His Word. Hannah, 2022 -- Applications are now open for Wilberforce Academy 2026!: wilberforcecollective.org/academy The Wilberforce Academy seeks to prepare students and young professionals for servant-hearted, Christ-centred leadership in public life. Would you, or someone you know, benefit from this? Whether you are a student or a young professional in law, politics, education, media, creative arts, healthcare or business, the Wilberforce Academy aims to prepare you to stand and speak for Jesus in your area of influence. "To date, I am... honoured to report that I have helped 37 mothers to save their babies" Dr Dermot Kearney, who supports women who regret taking the abortion pill with emergency life-saving treatment for their unborn babies, encourages us to stand courageously for life. Today, we've been standing for life outside Parliament with pro-life campaign groups to say 'no' to abortion up to birth. Join us in praying that peers would vote to protect innocent lives, and for courageous medical professionals like Dermot as they work to support vulnerable women and children.

It is up to the Church to speak up, to expose the scandal of abortion, and to defend the value of life. At our rally outside Parliament this afternoon, Dominic Muir encourages the crowd to courageously take on this duty and to speak up faithfully for the beauty of life and the hope of Jesus Christ.

There are places in the UK where we are not allowed to speak up in defence of the value of life. Rebecca Bensted (Christian Legal Centre) reminds rally attendees of the crucial importance of speaking up publicly for the unborn, and highlights Christian Concern and the Christian Legal Centre's work to protect those defending life. Please continue to pray for God to work in the hearts and minds of peers today and that they would vote to protect innocent lives.

"We are the people who are on the right side of history. We are the people who say that good law will always protect life and always protect the most vulnerable in our society." As supporters rally outside Westminster ahead of the House of Lords vote on decriminalising women who perform their own abortions, Andrea Williams reminds attendees why we must undauntedly stand for life. We cannot be silent in the face of such injustice.

"It's very dangerous. It's against women. It's in favour perhaps of coercive men." As pro-life campaigners rally outside Parliament this afternoon, @EdwardLeighGB (currently the longest serving MP) reminds supporters of the risk that DIY abortion poses both to women and to the unborn. And this risk is only compounded with the possibility of the decriminalisation of women who perform their own abortions, even up to birth. Please join us in praying that peers would vote to protect innocent lives today.

***Victory: assisted suicide defeated in Scotland*** Late last night, a bill to legalise assisted suicide in Scotland was defeated by 69 votes to 57. Because of your help and support, we were able to call on Scottish MSPs to vote down this dangerous bill, thus securing a major victory in support of the value of life. Many concerns were raised by those opposing the bill, including the risk of coercion, a lack of access to effective palliative care, and the dehumanising effect this legislation would have on disabled people. Give praise to God for this wonderful victory. Pray that public opinion would continue shifting as widespread concern grows, and that assisted suicide would be soundly defeated in England and Wales as well.

🚨JOIN US TODAY TO RALLY AGAINST ABORTION🚨 Today, the House of Lords will vote on whether to decriminalise women who perform their own abortions - at any stage of pregnancy - and also whether to end pills by post. Under Clause 208 (inserted into the Crime and Policing bill last June) it would no longer be illegal for women to take their children’s lives at any stage of their pregnancy, for any reason, even right up to birth. But today, peers will vote on an amendment by Baroness Monckton which proposes to remove Clause 208 from from the bill. If passed, this would stop the decriminalisation of women who perform their own late-term abortions. Another amendment that peers will vote on, proposed by Baroness Stroud, would reinstate in-person abortion appointments and end the dangerous pills by post scheme. Stand with us as we rally outside Parliament at 2pm today to urge peers to vote in support of removing the decriminalisation clause and to vote in support of ending pills-by-post. We will then reconvene at 5pm for a pro-life prayer rally. Our hearts break at the thought of more children being lost to abortion, even up to the point of birth. Countless lives depend on us speaking up. We cannot afford to stay silent. If you can't join us in person, please pray for the rally and for peers to vote in support of life. eventbrite.co.uk/e/prayer-rally…

I’m a signatory on amendment 425, suggesting we bring back face2face consultations for women requesting the 10 week pill. I’m pro choice but also pro safeguarding. Pills by post have be abused & we need to check gestation in person. These pills are only safe to ten weeks

"Christian values without Christian faith are as likely to succeed in bringing about a cultural revival as alcohol free beer is likely to bring about a revival of pub culture in England." Quite so. But there is a lot of interest in recovering those Christian values all the same. And this may contribute to a revival of Chrsitianity.

How can immigrants be successfully integrated into Britain and its Christian culture when British Christianity itself is so weak? Alexander Norman suggests the answer may lie in the joy of wine and beer. dailysceptic.org/2026/03/16/bee…
