Comic Book Hot Take: Adam Strange has one of the best costumes to come out of the Silver Age and the character is under-utilized and should have a greater presence in the DC Universe. Archeologist, adventurer, explorer, genius, leader...

Saying Kurt is "way too catholic" sounds so stupid to me. He looks like a blue devil, him being catholic HAS ALWAYS been his main thing and its one of the many reasons why people love Kurt. He's one of the few characters in comics that has a healthy connection to his beliefs.

I think 97 nightcrawler is like… way too catholic. Like sure Kurt’s Catholicism is an important part of his character but it’s not like… the main thing.

Ben Affleck says the best work of his career is the commentary he recorded for Armageddon Ben Affleck: So this disc, um, the... the Criterion. I was surprised when I heard Criterion was doing Armageddon, 'cause I didn't think of it as that kind of movie when we did it. Um, and in retrospect now, I feel like maybe my best work in my career is the commentary on this disc. People approach me to talk about the commentary on this disc as much as they do like movies that I've been in. And it's because, um, I didn't know any better than to be really honest. But I won't spoil it for those of you who are interested. It... it... it is a... it is an... as an achievement that I'm proud of and didn't intend to be as good as I now think it is at the time. Criterion, when is the 4K coming out?"

Ryan Reynolds says he wants a gritty Logan style farewell film for Wesley Snipes’s Blade. “He’s my Marvel father.” Hugh Jackman said he’d have “banned” Wesley Snipes from Deadpool & Wolverine if he’d known Snipes would break his record for the longest career as a live action Marvel role. “Now it’s just a competition of who’s going to live longer.”

I’ve come to the conclusion that Morrison gave the best of both options for Jason Either have him stay red hood guns n all full villain with actual impact Or as the redeemed hero Wingman working to fully rehabilitate himself Pick one not both no back n forth shit

It’s so funny how despite a major part of modern Jason supposedly being the one that kills he can’t ever actually kill any character penguin survives this shit

There's also water IN THE AIR. The aliens wouldn't be able to walk around without being burned, or breathe without destroying their lungs. I know it's a send up of old alien movies where the aliens were dumb enough not to protect themselves from human diseases, or that they somehow achieved interstellar travel while completely missing relatively mundane technology, but making WATER of all things their weakness is such a huge plot hole that it's inexcusable. Even salt would have made more sense and still would have worked perfectly with the themes.

If you think modern Superman movies make controversial choices, check out Mario Puzo’s massive script for the original Superman he completed in 1975. You can find it online pretty easily but it’s a long read. Donner had the script completely re-written, but in the Puzo version Krypton looked like Earth with normal houses and architecture and when Superman comes to Earth, his Fortress of Solitude is described as a “bachelor pad” in the form of a rugged hunting cabin complete with homemade deerskin chairs, deer antlers on the walls, a fireplace with a roasting spit, and a bearskin rug where Clark lounged to read electronic plates.

i truly understand why a specific demographic hates these movies one is about an illegal alien ruining the plans of a billionaire to colonize and wipe out another country and the other is about a woman bringing down a child trafficking ring & sliming out pedo's

Quentin Tarantino on what the future of the James Bond franchise should look like: "What I think they should do, and I’ve been thinking they should do this for a long time, is so many of the books have these really classic names and really classic adventures. And for the most part, a lot of them, they never did the book. They never did the stories. They took the plot line and maybe the Bond girl or maybe the villain and then just went their own way. Tom Mankiewicz just goes his own way. He did the writing for a lot of them. I think they should not remake the movies but actually just do the books, but do them the way they were written. And those would all be brand new."
