Perhaps unsurprisingly the biggest contributors to household WEEE waste generation in terms of weight are large household appliances (i.e ovens) and refrigerant containing appliances (i.e fridges) according to recent Environment Agency Data for the UK. #ewaste #WEEE @CDTSIS

In 2020 our artist @SusannahPal exhibited her thought provoking artwork at the Hartley Library at the University of Southampton as part of the TRACE e-waste project. We can't wait to see what she creates for TRACE-P examining the plastic pollution crisis! #plastic #pollution

What is #e-waste? Any waste with wires, plugs, batteries, electrical or electronic components, even the smallest battery, wire or computer chip makes an item e-waste. Even small items like vape pens, handheld fans and charger cables count as e-waste. #waste @CDTSIS
